Knowledge About the Inter-Play of Soma (liquid) and Agni (fire) in an Infinite Loop of Creation and Preservation.
THE BLUE INFINITY
The Blue Infinite Loop represents Soma, or primodial waters, which is also described as a drink prepared from the juice of a plant, as moon, as rain bringing life on earth, as a fertilising agent, as radiation coming down from interstellar regions, or the real link between gravitation and electrical phenomenon.
The Primodial waters are broken down in five lines representing Breast Milk, Blood, Intravascular Biological Fluids, Interstitial Biological Fluids and Intracellular Biological fluids which are essential for human existence.
THE GOLD INFINITY
The Gold Infinite Loop represents Agni (fire), or the principle of heat, the Sun, and all that what consumes Soma.
The Gold (Agni) is Purusa (Male) and the Blue (Soma) is Stri (Female).
In fact, the visible part of the celestial sphere is Puruşa and the invisible part is Stri.
THE BLUE AND GOLD INFINITY LOOP
Agni is surrounded by Soma, wherever the creation process is in operation.
- If Agni has the quality of spreading and losing itself, the other substance should oppose this spreading by feeding the agni and containing it.
- If Soma were not there, there would be no limit to the spreading tendency and ultimately the Agni substance annihilates itself.
- If Agni were not there, the shrinking tendency of Soma will lead to contraction of substances without limit and again the substance Will lose Its existence.
- If Agni were not there, the shrinking tendency of Soma willlead to contraction of substances without limit and again the substance Will lose Its existence.
Therefore, in creation, both these forces exist in varying degrees and that is how, diversity in creation is achieved.
The coming together or inter-play of Gold and Blue Infinity loop represents the celestial sphere which constitutes the Stri-Purusa pair i.e. Male-Female union and copulation, resulting in the fertilization of the cosmic womb, resulting in creation, similar to the process in a woman’s womb.
THE RISING FLAME
The Rising Flame from the infinite loop is the result of the union of Agni (Gold) and Soma (Blue) and also represents the concept of singularity, duality, polarity and the important aspect of Agni-soma interaction, when soma in the form of food is offered to agni, it first becomes agni and rises up in flames. It ultimately loses itself in space, but in the process, it transforms into soma finally and fills the space.
The lightning that occurs during a thunderstorm is attributed to the consumption of Soma by Indraprāņa active in the clouds. This led to the idea that soma gets illuminated, when it comes into contact with Agni and that Soma dispels darkness everywhere indicated by the rising flame in the logo.
The three circles
The Vedic seers believed in a grand unity in the structure and functioning of the universe, in adhiavika i.e. divine, adhyatmaka i.e. spiritual and adhibhautika i.e. material spheres.
They also discovered that the three fundamental entities in the Universe; Manas i.e. Mind or Consiousness, Prana i.e. Breath or Life-Force and Vak i.e. Matter or Speech. Together these three fundamental entities were responsible for every type of creation.
The three circles in the logo represent out of many aspects, the Trinity, at a spiritual level, and the cycle of birth, life and death in the metaphysical context.
At a celestial level, it represents the Sun, Moon and Earth.
Further in Ayurveda texts, we find the Tridoshas theory, i.e. the three fundamental energies or principles which govern the function of our bodies on the Physical and Emotional level. These three energies or principles are known as Vata, Pitta, and Kapha.
The names of these three doshas correspond to the three elements of the universe: i.e. Air, Fire, and Water and the psychological correlation of their role in the functioning and behavior of humans in the form of Trigunas i.e. Sattva, Rajas, and Tamas.
LOGO AND SOUPHERB TOGETHER
The movement of waters is uniform. It goes up and falls down. Rain bearing clouds feed the earth and agni moving up reanimates the heaven. Since Soma reaches the Earth along with rainfall and since rainfall gives rise to all forms of life, Soma is conceived as a fertilising agent. It also nurtures herbs and all forms of vegetation and life on Earth, including the birth of human beings.
These herbs and vegetation is consumed by human beings and the finest essence of such food that we take is used in three ways. The grossest part becomes waste (purisa) to be excreted. The medium part of it goes to build the flesh and the finest essence goes to make the manas (mind).
The food we eat defines who we are, how we react, how we sleep, how we develop health problems, how we age and is not limited to us alone. It also defines the quality of DNA and Genes we transfer to our off spring.
All imbalances which lead to diseases process can be corrected by manipulating the Agni (Digestive Heat) in our body. The Logo of SOUPHERB serves as a reminder that we constantly need to nourish ourselves with the best food (Soma) which interacts with our Digestive Heat (Agni), providing us longevity, a diseases free and better quality of life, to enjoy nature’s bounty to the fullest.
SOUPHERB is a living embodiment of the Greek saying, “Let Food be thy medicine and Medicine be thy Food”
